What this site collects, what it does not, and who else sees it.
The short version
This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no advertising trackers. There is nothing to log in to, so there is no account and no profile.
The only personal information we collect is what you choose to type into the contact form. Everything else on this page is about the small number of outside services the site loads, and what each of them sees.
From the site's own source code rather than from a template, so it describes what actually happens here. If the site changes, this page changes with it. Last updated 20 September 2026.
What the contact form collects
The form on our contact page is the one place on the site where you give us information about yourself.
- What you type
- The subject you pick from the list, your name, your organisation, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, and your message. Name, email and message are required. The rest are optional.
- What we add
- The time the message arrived, the two letter country code your connection came from, and a note that it came from the contact form rather than from somewhere else.
- Where it goes
- Straight to [email protected], through an email relay service that turns the submission into a message and delivers it. The relay handles it in transit. It is not used to build a mailing list.
- What we do not record
- Your IP address. The country code above is derived from it, and the address itself is never stored or emailed to us. There is no database behind this form. Your message becomes an email and lives in an inbox.
The form carries an invisible field that a person never fills in and an automated one usually does, and it notes the moment the page loaded so that a submission completed in under three seconds can be treated as automated. Both exist to stop spam. Neither identifies you, and nothing from either is kept.
Who else sees anything
Three, and only on the pages named. The site is not permitted to contact any other outside host, which is enforced by the browser rather than by our promise.
- Cloudflare TurnstileContact page only
- The human check above the send button. Your browser loads it from Cloudflare, and when you submit the form your IP address is sent once to Cloudflare so it can confirm the check passed. We receive only a pass or a fail. Cloudflare states that Turnstile is not used to track people across sites.
- Cloudflare Web AnalyticsEvery page
- Counts visits. It uses no cookies and no cross site identifier. What we see is page views, which site referred you, the country, and the broad browser type, all as totals. We cannot pick an individual visitor out of it, and neither can anyone else.
- Google FontsEvery page
- The typefaces the site is set in are served by Google. Serving a file means Google receives your IP address, as any web server does when it sends you something. No cookie is set and nothing else is shared.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare processes the requests that reach it in order to serve the pages.
How long we keep it, and what you can ask for
- How long
- Your enquiry stays in our email while the conversation it started is live, and afterwards as a record of it. A land or advisory conversation can run for months, which is why we do not delete on a fixed clock.
- What we do with it
- Reply to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone outside the company. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not run one.
- What you can ask for
- A copy of what we hold about you, a correction to it, or its deletion. Write to [email protected] from the address you contacted us on, or tell us which address to look for. We reply to everything, usually within two working days.
- If something goes wrong
- The same address reaches a person. Our complaint route is on the governance page, and it is the same route for a privacy concern as for anything else.
