Evacuation
Evacuation is getting generated power off the site and into the grid, through transmission lines and a substation connection. It is frequently the constraint that decides whether a project is viable at all, and it is often slower to secure than the generation itself.
Connection capacity is finite and allocated. A site with excellent wind and no evacuation route is not a site.
It is also the cost that rewards putting several sources on one parcel, because the connection is built and paid for once.
